Imposition of martial law : On June 13, the Justice Minister authorized the General Intelligence Services and military police to arrest civilians at will and incarcerate them for six months if they express any form of written or artist opposition against SCAF, the police, or their Islamist proxies, while protesting these same institutions on the streets can lead to life in prison.
मार्शल ला लागू करना: 13 जून को न्याय विभाग ने सामान्य खुफिया विभाग व सैन्य पुलिस को इस बात के लिये अधिकृत किया कि यदि कोई नागरिक एससीएएफ , पुलिस या उनके इस्लामवादी प्रच्छ्नों के विरुद्ध किसी प्रकार का लिखित, कलात्मक विरोध करता है तो उसे अपनी इच्छा से गिरफ्तार कर छह माह तक कारावास में रख सकते हैं और यदि इन्हीं संस्थाओं के विरुद्ध सडक पर प्रदर्शन किया गया तो आजीवन कारावास में रहना पड सकता है।
